Campground information

• Campground and campsite details come from public sources, including Recreation.gov (RIDB) and Washington State Parks. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, these agencies.
• Details can be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. Confirm site size, access, amenities, closures, fees, and rules with the campground operator before you rely on them.
• SiteUnseen does not take reservations. Booking links send you to the operator’s or a third party’s reservation site, whose own terms apply.
• Camping and travel carry risk. Road, weather, fire, and site conditions change. You are responsible for your own safety and decisions.

Photos from other websites

Some photos on SiteUnseen were published on other websites. We show each one with credit and a link to its source. We do not claim ownership of them, and we are not affiliated with those websites. Rights holders can have a photo removed or its credit corrected; see Copyright and takedown requests.

Accounts

An account is optional and is used to save campsites, keep trip history, and credit your uploads. Sign-in is provided by Clerk. Keep your sign-in details secure; you are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 to create an account.

Photo rules

Every photo you submit must:

• Be a photo you took, or one you have the owner’s permission to share, with an accurate source or attribution link.
• Show the campsite or campground. No unrelated content.
• Not show any identifiable person without their consent.
• Not show readable vehicle license plates, addresses, or other personal information.
• Not contain anything unlawful, sexual, violent, or hateful.

You keep ownership of your photos. By submitting a photo, you grant Miltinson Technologies LLC a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, resize, display, and distribute it on and in connection with SiteUnseen, including sending it to service providers for moderation. The license ends when the photo is deleted, except for copies kept in backups for a limited time.

Submitted photos are public. Photos are screened by automated moderation and may be reviewed manually. We can decline, hide, or remove any photo at any time, including after it is published. Photos reported by other visitors may be hidden automatically.

Copyright and takedown requests

If a photo on SiteUnseen uses your copyrighted work without permission, email contact@miltinson-technologies.com with the subject “Copyright notice” and include:

• Your name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
• The work you believe is infringed.
• The SiteUnseen page address and which photo on it, so we can find it.
• A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
• Your physical or electronic signature.

When we receive a complete notice, we remove or disable access to the photo and, if we can contact the person who submitted it, tell them. That person can send a counter-notice to the same address with their contact details, the photo that was removed and where it appeared, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for their address (or, outside the US, any district where we may be found), and their signature. We may restore the photo 10 to 14 business days after forwarding a counter-notice unless the complainant tells us they have filed a court action. We close the accounts of repeat infringers.

You can also email us without a formal notice to have a photo removed or its credit corrected. We review every request.

Votes and reports

Vote and report honestly. Do not use scripts, multiple browsers, or cleared cookies to inflate votes or reports.

Acceptable use

Do not scrape SiteUnseen at a volume that affects the service, try to access the admin area or other users’ data, interfere with moderation, or use SiteUnseen to break the law.
